How much are your wedding cupcakes?
We are proud to say that unlike other cake shops, we do not increase our pricing for weddings! Our pricing is very straightforward. Here is an “a la carte” list of our pricing to help you pick and choose the services you desire to create a wedding package that works best for you.
2 sizes of cupcakes available:
-standard (size you would find in most grocery stores) $30.00 per dozen for any flavor
-large (the size we sell in our store) $37.80 per dozen for any flavor
Do you offer tasting cupcakes?
Since we are a retail storefront, our tastings are handled a bit differently. Feel free to visit our shop anytime and purchase cupcakes to try our product. Since we often sell out & close early, we highly recommend checking the weekly menu to see which ones you want to try on any specific day. Once you decide which day, give us a call and we can hold them aside for you. After you have booked with us, you will receive a gift card to try 4 specific flavors from our complete menu list. These must be ordered by the Saturday before you are looking to pick them up so we can add the flavors to our menu. Please note that we do not take tasting orders on holidays and reserve the right to offer an alternative tasting date if we already have an over abundance of flavors for a specific date.
Do you require a deposit to "save-the-date"?
As we are a small bakery, we limit the number of weddings we book per weekend. In order to confirm that your wedding is on our calendar, we recommend completing a save-the-date deposit as soon as possible. This is a $150.00 non-refundable deposit that is applied towards your final wedding bill.
Do you offer set up and delivery?
Yes, we do offer set up and/or delivery options:
-Delivery: We make sure the cupcakes arrive safely to your venue and we set up the cupcake display. Starts at $1.25 per mile roundtrip from our shop + additional fee based on average travel time. Minimum Delivery Charge $25.00. Feel free to email us with your venue for a delivery quote.
-Set up: $50.00 flat fee
**We limit delivery to within 60 miles of our shop**
**Although our shop is not open on Sundays we do often accept Sunday wedding deliveries and/or set ups based on availability. Please note that weddings serviced on Sundays will be subject to a $50.00 charge in addition to set up & delivery.
Can the cupcakes be decorated to match the theme/color of my wedding?
We will make every effort to make sure our cupcakes fit into the theme of your event and look beautiful. As taste is extremely important to us, we do not use dark colored dyes in our frosting as it affects the taste/texture. There are several ways to dress up your cupcakes – small fondant decorations, toppers and decorative paper wrappers. Please let us know what you are looking for and we can brainstorm together.
How should we display our cupcakes?
There are so many fun and exciting ways to display your wedding cupcakes. Please see our gallery page to see a few of the creative ways our cupcakes have been displayed at weddings and other large events.
Do you offer cupcake towers for rent?
We have several towers available for rent and our collection continues to grow as we find unique new ways to display cupcakes. Please see photos on our tower gallery page.
-Rental fee: $50.00 for 5 days.
-Damage deposit: $100.00. The deposit is fully refundable if the tower is returned on time and without damage.
What flavors can I choose from for my wedding?
You can choose from any of the flavors you see on our menu page. If you have a flavor in mind that you don't see, please give us a call to discuss as we are constantly adding new flavors to our menu and would love to hear your ideas! Although you can choose any flavor you would like, if you are picking up your cupcakes the day before your ceremony, you may want to avoid certain flavors - for example: Our Rice Krispies Treat cupcake will lose some of its "snap, crackle & pop" overnight. Additionally, if you choose a cream cheese based frosting, you will need to make sure you have refrigeration available as we use real cream cheese.
Do you offer cutting cakes?
Although we do not offer traditional tiered cutting cakes, we do offer extra large size cupcakes for ceremonial cutting/sharing. It is approximately 2 times the size of one of our large cupcakes. It stands taller and can support most light weight cake toppers.
My wedding is outside during the summer months. Can I serve these cupcakes outside in the summer?
As we do not use artificial stabilizers or shortening in our frosting, our butter cream frosting is not appropriate for outdoor displays in extreme heat. For outdoor receptions in the summer, we highly recommend keeping the cupcakes inside an air conditioned environment until service.
How should I store the cupcakes if I am picking them up the day before the ceremony?
You should store our cupcakes in an airtight container at room temperature UNLESS you have chosen a cupcake with a cream cheese frosting. As we use real cream cheese, these cupcakes must stay refrigerated until service. Please make sure you have refrigeration available at your reception hall if you choose a cream cheese based frosting.
Do you offer cupcakes as individual wedding favors?
Yes! Cupcakes make great wedding favors or welcome gifts for out of town guests. These are individually boxed cupcakes. The boxes can be decorated to match the theme of your wedding or other event. Please call to discuss further.
When is my final count, flavor selection and payment due?
We need your final cupcake count and flavor selection three weeks prior to your event. This allows us time to secure any special ingredients, wrappers etc for any special flavors/decor you may have selected. Final payment is also due in full three weeks prior to your event date.
What is your cancellation policy?
If your order is cancelled prior to 48 hrs from your event, you will receive a refund LESS the non-refundable save the date deposit. We do not offer a refund if the order is cancelled within 48 hrs of the event.
